William Mason A.R.C.A, not just a great artist, but also a talented teacher, whose pupils have also reached great results.
I had the pleasure of meeting him in his house near London, and visited his studio. He was a frail old man, with piercing eyes bursting with talent.. He said he could teach anyone how to paint. His enthusiasm made him still teach and demonstrate his art in his late 80's. His favourite media was Oil Pastels as it gave ammunition to his very atmospherique vision of the world. He painted mainly landscape and his love of the sea also made him paint stunning seashorescapes..
He did also paint in Oils and I did sell great masterpieces in this media. See pictures below.
